The writing was bad. It felt like the grammar and sentence structure were wrong, like there were words missing. For example "Something felt wrong, prickled the back of my mind. Like I was forgetting something. For years, rare feeling." and "I could have simply gone in, made them stop me. But even I would push things just so far." This book needed a lot more editing and beta readers before publishing.
The plot was predictable but fine, it was pretty clear who was behind everything about halfway through however that really wasn't an issue it's a novella it's not gonna be super detailed. I liked the characters, I love trans representation in literature. I love trans authors and I wish I could give this a higher rating but the writing really puts me off.
