What is your character's main New Year’s resolution? Write an entry in your journal.
My new years resolution is to GM a one shot! I have attempted to GM in the past however I think I was way to ambitious in GMing a whole D&D campaign as my frist go, and then also GMing a Good Society game as my first introduction to the system. I want to start small and with a system I'm really comfortable with, which is why I've picked Monster of the Week. I've been playing in a campaign for over a year and I've played a few different one-shots so I feel pretty knowledgable about the rules.
10. You are confident enough that you will achieve your resolution this year. Why is that?

Although I hated my previous attempts at GMing I think this time will be different. I’m going to set myself up for success the best way I can, running a system I’m very comfortable in, and having players I trust really well and know will make my life easier rather than harder. Having a group of players that vibe really well with me and each other will make the whole experience much smoother.
4. Someone you know just achieved their resolutions. How do you feel?
A bit jealous because I haven’t achieved mine, but proud of them none the less. I tend to compare myself to others but I will try to let this wash over me instead of obsessing about it.
7. What resources or support do you need to achieve your resolution?
I’ll need a system I feel comfortable and confident running, a fun mystery, a good group of players, and a set time/date. Honestly that's all Ireally need.
11. A friend is asking for advice in achieving their resolutions. What are they asking for?
Kat came to me asking for advice on running away to the circus. I told them they should pick up a skill like juggling. I never got the hang of juggling so I wasn’t much help but I gave them the juggling balls I have from my juggling phase as a child. I think part of me has always wanted to run away to the circus so I'm glad that Kat is living out their dreams.
20. You prepare a plan on how to achieve your resolution with clear steps and deadlines. Describe it.

You managed to achieve your New Year’s resolution. How do you feel? How do you celebrate?
I feel very accomplished and proud of myself for overcoming my fear of Gming and running my first motw one shot! Even though I was battling the bees in my stomach I still managed to get through it without crying! That's a huge win in my book. I’m going to celebrate by taking a celebratory bath and have a nap. I definitely earnt it :]
